Welcome to Royal History Geeks.

My name is Gareth Streeter and for as long as I can remember I have been enthralled by the concept of Royalty, the histories of crowned individuals and fascinated by how a handful of people have shaped the destiny of what we today call the United Kingdom.

Over the years, I have discovered – largely thanks to the internet – that I am not alone.  In January 2016, I launched this blog – www.RoyalHistoryGeeks – in a bid to bring together other Royalty-obsessed super cool people to create and curate well written discussion on the history of the Royal Houses of England, Scotland, Britain and the UK and those that were intimately connected to them.
